Clinical Background

I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine. My clinical training included rotations through UC Health’s Neuro and Cardiac Intensive Care Units, Craig Hospital’s spinal cord injury program, and National Jewish Health’s pulmonary rehabilitation clinic.

FND Specific Training

I have training in functional neurological disorder management, including coursework through the University of Colorado School of Medicine, advanced clinical education at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, one of the country’s preeminent neurologic rehabilitation centers, and completion of the Institute for Knowledge Translation’s FND training course. I bring a commitment to evidence-informed, patient-centered care to individuals navigating the complexity of functional neurological conditions.

My Neurologic Journey

I also have personal experience with neurologic system presentations as a patient with Multiple Sclerosis. Although I do not know what it is like to have FND, I understand the experience of having your body stop working. This gives me valuable insight and compassion in my patient care.

Teaching and Presentations

As someone who loves learning, I work constantly to better understand the evolving fields of physical therapy and neurology. I love sharing this knowledge through teaching and presentations on topics including anatomy, biomechanics, kinesiology, and brain network function in movement disorders.

Professional Collaborations

I currently work with the Boulder Center for Neuro Health seeing patients with FND.

I am also a part of the FND Courage Non-Profit provider network.
